I just fixed a problem that was nagging me for a while, and thought I'd share the cause and fix. I've run Mozilla Firefox for the past forever, but lately it had been logging me out of sites when I closed the browser. I could save the logins, but it wouldn't actually keep me logged into a site. I knew this was a cookie issue, but I couldn't put my finger on it; it's not like sites were broken when surfing. I finally got around to fixing it, and it was a curroupted cookie database.

Simply enter your profile directory and find the cookies.sqlite file. Be sure to close Firefox, then rename this, or delete it. It'll straighten you right out.
